Water Jigsaw

Mellon Udrigle, West coast, Scotland.

A small peat stream drains into the beach at Mellon Udrigle and cuts a path through the wet sand creating jigsaw piece patterns from the sandy template. Beyond the distant peaks of An Teallach the rising sun was desperately trying to bore a hole through the clouds occasionally shooting out rays of blood red light which subsequently flickered and died. What a great start to a new day.

Superb!! Your work with time exposure is fantastic to cath the light and preserve details.

Nice capture of some of those red rays. Great low perspective on this interesting jig saw effect. Very pretty near and far scenes and beautiful sunrise colors.
