Pityoulish Chill

Loch Pityoulish, Aviemore, Scotland.

Loch Pityoulish is mesmerisingly beautiful none more so than in winter just before sunset. The sun picked out the reeds and the grove of pine trees beneath a rich azure sky while the ice kindly reflected the light into various shadow areas bringing out the colours far better than it would had it been just dark peaty water.

Very pretty loch Ian. The sunset certainly did warm up the trees and spotligh those pretty reeds, bringing them center stage in this beautiful scene that you've so very nicely composed.
