I have not been very fortunate with the weather on some of my recent trips to Glencoe and the west coast of Scotland but I must say I was delighted to find this magical little spot on the banks of Kinlochleven which had some of the most vividly coloured rocks and stones I have ever had the good fortune to happen across. When a situation like this arises I use a polariser to remove reflections and saturate colours. Note the reflected blue on the smaller stones from a rare patch of blue sky overhead.
