Ice Castle

Duffus Castle, Moray, Scotland.

It was a delightfully fresh day to traipse around one of my favourite un-manned, visit when you want castles. A rigid hard frost coated the grasses, yet where the sun had caught the brow of grass either side of a cobbled path, the frost had melted leaving twin stripes of green which looked uncannily like those minty green slithers of gel you find squeezed within tubes of those branded toothpastes.
