Copse Glenlivet

Chapelton Braes, Glenlivet, Scotland.

I saw this little copse of trees clustered together below the shadow of a hill near Chapelton in Glenlivet whilst on assignment there. I realised that there was a superb sky building with lines of cloud radiating from an imaginary point. So I opted to make that imaginary point the little orange pine needled copse of trees which offered a delicate contrasting hue amongst all the greenery. Coincidentally I realised with a smile on my face and great satisfaction, the delicious textural echo of the sky in the foreground grasses. What a find it proved to be.
