Another pre-dawn sortie to this beautiful soft rolling landscape on the north east coast of Skye. Access is remarkably easy thanks to the winding road that climbs over the hills to the west coast. As the first fingers of light pushed in on a September morning I watched the sky turn bright pink before lightening and changing hue to the more familiar colours of daylight. The soft ambient light reaches so softly into the shadows that everything is revealed in a very sensual manner.
