Pine Light

Dulsie Bridge, Moray, Scotland.

This is a pretty ordinary stretch of pine wood which provides a pleasant woodland walk. Somewhere there was a small woodfire burning and a thin hazy veil of smoke gently diluted the suns power and significantly lowered the contrast levels to a manageable level for Fuji film to handle. Even so I hid the sun behind the trunk of a tree and let the light filter through to reveal the subtle details and textures that so attracted me.

NEW!! Photographic Holidays at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Superb light, exquisite image treatment. I think I can see the bees sucking on those foreground flowers, and it is not an oversharpening effect!
