If like me you have been cooped up indoors watching it drizzle for the last three days solid then I hope this might cheer you up a bit. This is a differnet version of a previously uploaded shot also taken in June last year I think it is actually quite a bit better than the previous one.
Rivulets of golden peat stained water meander from a little stream emptying onto the red sand beach of Mellon Udrigle on the west coast of Scotland. A storm is brewing over the distant hills and cumulus clouds bubble up in an azure sky. The colour combinations of red, gold and blue work magnificently together, getting down to near water level has allowed me to make the most of the standing ripples of the snaking stream.
