Caves Cove Bay

Cove Bay, Hopeman, Moray, Scotland.

To be honest I haven't quite made up my mind about this one there is something about it that really grabs me. The patterned foreground looks great especially as it is festooned in limpets, but is the cave just too much of a black hole. I'll leave it to you to decide, the colour contrasts certainly appeal to me.

F22 at 1/8 sec, 0.45ND grad turned upside down to reduce contrast between cliff and foreground rocks. Unusual to have a brighter bottom half than the top. full exif
