Changing Oil into Gold

Grangemouth, Central Scotland

Whether you like it or not the miles of accumulated shiny pipes that make up the petro-chemical works at Grangemouth are as much a part of the Scottish landscape as the mountains of Scotland and those nasty electrical current carrying pylons and the equally dubious wind farms that are springing up atop some of my favourite scenery. Unlike some of the aforementioned I have to admit to a strong attraction to this industrial monster especially lit in the cold of twilight.

Can't believe you have no comments on this. This image is just as beautiful in its own way as the more traditional landscapes you do. Viewing Grangemouth in the dark is a wonderful sight.
