Quintessential Scotland

Kinloch Hourn, Highlands, Scotland.

There is a little known 22 mile long dead end that leads past Tomnadoun and continues toward Loch Hourn on the west coast of Scotland. It is I believe one of the best and most exciting dead ends scenically that I've ever travelled. I probably shouldn't even mention it but I do believe in sharing special locations with my visitors. Anyway this delightful little spot is not particularly spectacular, but is so typically Scottish I wanted to include it amongst my landscape works.

Oh Ian, I am of Scottish heritage although I've never yet been there. This photo makes me want to pack my bag and get on the next plane heading east! Exquisite! V
