Stac Pollaidh is a wonderful volcanic looking peak. I should perhaps add that I am standing on it near the summit and the mountain view is Cul Mor. Stac Pollaidh appears to be completely unclimbable from the road that runs close to its base, but it can actually be scaled in under an hour by a fairly innocuous route. It has the benefit of being situated in a breathtakingly beautiful area of Scotland and the views from its not particularly lofty summit are quite stunning. Although the summer months aren't perhaps my favourite time of year and the lighting was not at its best. I managed to find a composition that appealed to me that circumvented some of these shortcomings.
