As the sun sets near Krabi and Pra Ngan beach in Thailand the last of the long prop boats race back home before it gets too dark to see. The boats are powered by VW beetle engines mounted on a gimble with a prop shaft some ten feet long attached to a propellor blade. They are both fast and manouvreable.
