An exquisitely beautiful winter sunrise painted the tops of Selfjord's impressive mountains ginger shortly after sunrise. The water was remarkably calm and the reflection sublime as if painted by the delicate brushwork of birch shrubbery that lined the bottom. I am still debating whether I would have preferred the brush curtain included in the picture or not, but it wasn't an option so I think I made the best of the cards that were dealt.
