I saw that blood red stone sitting in its nest of rock from way back beside the road and I had already decided that it would make a nice shot in overcast conditions. When I got closer it became obvious that red wasn't the only colour on show. The green algae in the river is equal and opposite in hue to the red stone and a blue tinge on the water completed the range of colours all set off very nicely by the cool grey rocks.
