It would have been a crime to let this light pass through. A succession of snow storms with very heavy dark clouds passed by our small group near the tiny hamlet of Senja. Most of them reached this colour and intensity of light for just a couple of minutes but this one garnished the snow covered rocks with golden sunlight just a few minutes after sunrise to devastatingly beautiful effect. Ironically this one benefitted from using the little Fuji camera as the water had become quite choppy and the long plank jetty connecting to the snow covered boat was bouncing around just a little too much for Velvia.
