Chose to display it large for impact in a slightly more panoramic format than my usual overly square shape. A fantastic autumnal afternoon saw the double gable ended ruin of Calder House bathed in deep blue shadow and reflected in a mirror smooth sheltered bay in Loch Assynt. I waited for all the light to leave the house so it stood out against the bracken covered slopes and adjusted my position to make use of the light from the sunlit hill behind such that it streamed through as many of the windows as possible. This was far and away the best shot of the bunch exclusively for that small spark of light.
