Lochleven Mist

Lochleven, Glencoe, Scotland

Same place as my last upload but very different conditions.

It was pouring with rain and blowing almost as strongly and on the face of it landscape photography appeared to be a complete waste of time. Fortunately heavy rain brings with it a degree of obscurity akin to a misty morning and the mountains duly formed recessive triangles marching away into the distance. I am interested to know what you think of my choice to use visual punctuation (a full stop at the end of my visual sentence), courtesy of the round clump of tree at the end of the recessive triangles - with or without.. I hid under the boot lid of my car and managed to get a rain free version of this. I find it deeply satisfying and full of emotive content, I hope it does the same for you.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2014 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
