An Ear to the Ground

Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland

A lump of weathered and pitted sandstone as dry as talc is half submerged in wind sculpted sand amongst the dunes on Lossiemouth beach. The shape of the stone immediately reminds me of an ear and a title for the image pops into my head - it is such a delightfully artistic setting I was tempted to write a message below it in the sand and take a second photograph - "Van Gogh Woz 'Ear". Such a warped mind.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Wonderful shot and great light. Love the title of the image. Perfect.

Being "warped" is what makes you look at things differently and catch some amazing images.
