Tufts of fiery red deer grass in the process of full autumnal change through yellow to orange and thence rust red are backlit by glancing late afternoon sunlight as it rakes across Rannoch moor turning each tuft to fire beneath a dappled sky with clouds already tinged with amber by the lateness of the hour.
