On a gloriously still Spring morning I found myself passing Loch Bad a' Ghail on the way back for breakfast when I was distracted by the sheer perfection of this beautiful freshwater red sand beach forming a neat crescent shape between the perfectly reflected mountain peaks of Coigach, their recessive shapes in layers of soft blue folded light. Between it a small island of pine trees were silhouetted. I risked a shot into the light and with very careful lens shading managed to avoid flare.
