Golden Stalker

Appin, Argyll, Scotland

A largely windless day and fabulous evening golden sunlight streaming in to light up the castle and snow capped peaks beyond. The main difficulty was the constant shifting of position to cater for both the rapidly rising tide and to get as clean a palette as possible for the reflection of the castle and mountain. A longer lens compressed the perspective and offered some gravitas to the castle and distant peaks.
