Chilled Chroisg

Loch A Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland

A freezing day at the edge of Loch A Chroisg on route to the impressive snow covered peaks of the Torridon mountains. A wooden post fence juts out into the water the posts turning gold in the low afternoon sunlight but there is little warmth left in it and the cross hatched wires remain thick with hoar frost built up over two days of sub-zero temperatures below minus 20C.
