Mellon Rocks

Mellon Udrigle, Laide, Scotland

Mellon Udrigle with its turquoise sea and red sand beach is an endless source of pleasure for me and my camera. I love it best when I am entirely on my own in the soft ambient light of pre-dawn as this light maximises the weak colours and delicate hues. This time I decided to position myself so that three sets of red sandstone rocks formed a loose triangular composition in the swirling sea.
