Snow Flurry Elgol

Elgol, Skye, Scotland.

My ideal type of day, right on the edge of a weather front but not one that spawned rain and sunshine instead it was sunshine and blizzards. That evil dark looking sky with the shadowy outline of one of the jagged Cuillin is melting into yet another ferocious blizzard while I temporarily shoot a barnacle covered rock in brilliant sunshine.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

A master of the exposure. To balance the rocks & barnacles to the dark kelp, and the forebodding clouds in the background. A great camera/lens/film combination with an instinct for the light and time.
