Broken Biscuits

Hopeman, Moray, Scotland.

The colour version of this is enchanting but some of the drama behind with the crespecular rays is lost in the riot of colour that makes up this stoney beach at Hopeman. The conversion to monochrome wasn't straightforward but I think the power of the prevailing light is given more weight as a result.

It's a great composition with excellent tonal range. I do feel a little curious about the coloured version though! Well done.
