Winter Loch a Chroisg

Loch a Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland.

A straggly group of Scots pines on the shores of Loch a Chroisg eek out a harsh existence on the banks of the loch. During the winter months the sheltered loch collects freezing mists that ensure the temperatures in the depths of winter are some of the coolest of any of the Scottish glens. The mountains beyond are those of Slioch and the Torridons.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Beautiful wintery landscape. Looks very harsh and desolate. Cold and hard. V. Lee

Beautifully framed and shot! Love the desaturated look - really feels like winter.
