Whenever I travel down to the end of the loch at Glen Etive the dilapidated jetty beckons but I always seem to get there when the most atrocious weather imaginable hits it and photography from the nearby boat shed is the only real option. Once again the wind and rain howled but for the briefest of instants a patch of sun scorched a circle of light across the slope beyond lifting the intense colours of grass and brackens festooning the slopes behind.
