I love your pictures and am interested in using some of those in my offfice. Could you please email me details about purchasing your photos.
There is a small store located on old hwy 61 in Shelby, MS that I think you should take a picture of as it is a very old store owned by my grandfathers brother and his wife. If you need more details let me know.
So glad you gave me your web address. Haven't gotten the printer hooked up yet but was curious about your photos. Good job. Seems we share alot of the same interests. I love antebellum homes and the blues. We just saw the Tupelo group Homemade Jamz in Helena Arkansas. That might be a good place for you to check out old buildings and signs. They have one of those old buster brown signs that is really cool. Also in north little rock there is a place called the old mill...it's from the opening scenes of Gone With The Wind. Keep on shootin'. God bless. Suzi

I am interested in using your picture of the Delta Queen on one of our web-sites. Do you have a release price and agreement?
I'm writing from the BBC in London. We are making a four part history on the history of America presented by Professor Simon Schama who is a well known broadcast historian and writer from Columbia University in New York. It will go out on the BBC and the History Channel in the US in October.
I came across your beautiful photographs online and I would love to talk to you some more about some of the places you photographed. We are going to be filming in Mississippi Delta and I would love to have some recommendations of places to shoot from someone who has such an eye.
I'd love to chat to you if you have some time. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org - do get in touch with a number and a good time for me to call.

REGARDING 8780 BLISS ALLEY:
You have it marked as Town Creek, Alabama...however, I think that is actually on Main Street in downtown Leighton, Alabama. A distance relative remodeled that building. You use to go there to pay your light bill.
Ha nice pitches

Dave,Re: Alcorn County Court house. The building when abandoned 60 years ago became a Methodist Church. Quay Gray, my grandmother played the organ and taught sunday school in the building for approx. 20 years. My grandfather, John Elton Gray, saved the building from brick salvage when the conty proposed selling. This happened sometime in the 1960's. He played a major role and actually did some of the restoration work. The Old Jacento Court House is in Jacento MS East of Reinze both below Corinth. Your School Buddy
Thanks for commenting on my recently posted photos of Utah and AZ. More to come as I find time.
David, I have commented on your images as a guest. Now I have my own account:
It contains about 200 images from the first few days of a road trip from the Seattle area to Moab, Utah. I'm slowly adding more images. I hope you find the pictures interesting. Thanks. ----Dave Beedon
Dave, you have a mind for the unique and an eye that composes an interesting photographs for my own imagination to wander through.
Great stuff. Mike Gray
I enjoyed looking at your photo gallery and was very impressed with the shots taken with the 20-35 zoom. I am looking at this lens as an alternative to the very expensive 17-40 L. Do you have to do much post processing distortion work on the 20-35 photos? Your photos have a very natural sharp look which is what I am looking for. It seems to be a good standard range zoom for a 1.6 crop factor camera body that doesn't empty your wallet. Would you recommend this lens for landscapes and architecture?
Hi there Mr. David I loved your pictures of the Firefighters at the Caledonia house fire on June 1st of last year. I used to live in Caledonia so it brings me a little closer to home. I hope that you will continue to take pictures of more firefighters especially the Caledonia Volunteer Firefighters I know almost all of them and I used to date one so thats why I'm interested. Thank you very much for the pictures that you already have. Thanks again.
Hey there: So nice to see yet another Alabama photographer on PBase. Thanks so much for your nice comments, I have saved you in favorites for further viewing. What area of Alabama do you reside in?
