Nubbin was surrendered to the shelter, not once but twice. With his first owner, he had an accident, which caused his tail to be surgically removed. As a result, he had neurological problems, which caused some difficulty with his going to the bathroom. He would occasionally have a messy bottom or accidently leave a poop outside the box. It was sad because he tried so hard to be faithful with the litter box. Nubbin improved with us and was a favorite in the office. The vet said that he could continue to make neurological improvements. He was accepted into a home/sanctuary in NC, and flew out to meet his new adoptive parents in September 2007 with one of our volunteers accompanying him for his trip. He was the best behaved passenger on the flight.
