Deep Sea Fishing (Guam February 2004)

These are a few pictures taken during a recent Deep Sea Fishing trip on a chartered boat. Tom was a local from Guam and worked as one of our Fishing Guides. It was my first time deep sea fishing and we had a blast! Probably my favorite part was eating the Sashimi. There is nothing better than freshly killed, raw fish. It doesn't get more fresh than that!

Sadly, just a couple hours after this picture was taken, his favorite hat blew off into the water never to be seen again.

Noticing our increased salivatory response, Tom decided to whip up some Sashimi from one of the freshly caught Yellow Finned Tuna.

Once he removed the head and underbelly, the juicy flesh spilled forth, yearning to be eaten.

By the time we were finished, this is all that remained of the poor Tuna. But he sure was tasty!

Am I really fighting a fish, or just acting for the camera? You be the judge.

While the fish were cooking, I snapped this picture as the sun dipped into the Philippine Sea. Ahhhh, a beautiful ending to another beautiful day.
