I now live in the states and have owned two Lotus Cortina's over here. But, my first one was a 1966 DVV55D and i was the second owner. Is it still out there?

Hi all. My name is Noel Smith
I was looking thro' photos on your website to see if my old car still exists. It's a MK2 in Silver Fox. I was the second owner of the car, reg no ORX 44 F, and I bought it from a Ford main dealer Gowrings in Newbery, Berks If it is still about I would love to know about it. The first owner fitted a supplementary fuel tank in the boot and two small rectangular spots under the front bumper. I owned the car for about 2 to 3 years and I only saw it once about six months after I sold it. The following owner sprayed the bonnet lid a hideous matte black which seemed to be in fashion at the time.

What a lucky fellow you are to see those Cortina's running in real. I can remember Sir John Whitmore battling with the works Alfa's at Zandvoort years and years ago. The Corina remain one of my favourite cars.
