I have found a box of 300 negatives taken by my great-great uncle between 1916 and 1918 on the front south to Verdun and Chattaucourt. The negative are either 645 or 4x5, are in good condition and can give really good print with uncredible sharpness and tonal range (I still dont get how he could meter that well ...). Some of the pictures in this gallery are of mediocre quality/unsharp because i tried to scan directly the negatives...but the films are too curly and dense for my poor scanner.
I am now in a process of making contact prints to get nice scans so i will update this gallery regularly.
