Adelie & other penguins

The Adelie Penguin is a true Antarctic bird, only occurring around the continental coast on the the southernmost outlying islands. At the other end of the spectrum is the Magellanic Penguin that occurs only in South America and the Falklands, although some authorities claim that the Magellanic, African and Humboldt Penguins are simply races within one single species.
