This portion of the Malhuer wetlands is filled with water and wildlife. A dry year has left this area of the lake dry. Here in late September, is just prior to the millions of migrating waterfowl converging on the area. By late October it will be teaming with life. My bike is dwarfed by the wide vista in which it sits.
