I "FIND" the Lost Forest just northeast of the Fossil lakes area. This patch of pine trees grow in an area that only gets 9-10 inches of rain... they require twice that. The unique soil traps the moisture near the surface for the trees. The solitude invites deep thoughts... I don't have any, so I motor on.
