I visited Providentiales Island 25 years ago, and was disappointed to see all of the development that had occurred. Since I rented a car this time, I was able to explore the island better than my last trip, and my bird list was enhanced. A day trip to North and Middle Caicos Islands was like going back in time. Perhaps development will be more restrained there.
