This trip was taken from June 3-10, 2006. David and Susan Disher accompanied me and my wife, Judy, to Copamarina Resort on the Southwest coast. This resort is adjacent to Guanica State Forest, an excellent place for dry scrub birds. The Maricao State Forest was also excellent for the mountain birds. We did not make El Yunque, but still saw most of the endemics.
