These birds were seen on a trip to Ambergris Caye in September, 2004. Ambergris Caye is one of the large barrier islands of Belize, which is located on the eastern coast of Central America, just south of the Yucatan peninsula. Weather was hot but beautiful as we dodged two hurricanes during the week. Several birds were feeding fledged young, some were molting, and there were a few neotropical migrants.
