George Lucy had this bridge built (in 1755-57) across the River Dene
by David Hiorne (who worked for Brown at Packington, twenty miles away).

After yesterday's brilliant sunshine,
it was actually quite intriguing to revisit Charlecote
on a typical grey day... -- revealing quite a different character to both
the house and the park. A lot less people, too!
