This is a beautiful little church -- rapidly becoming one of my local favourites! -- which has been recently restored. And, although it is so tiny, it features a full set of choirstalls, unlike its larger sibling at Sutton Mandeville....
New photographs are always added at the bottom of this gallery...
I still have a great liking for the The Church. I was in the Sunday School, during the 2nd World War,Mr Walters was the Vicar. Remember well the bells ringing out, after the 8th Army Won the Great Victory in the Western Desert, I think it Was 1942.I have lots of Memories of the School, Mrs Guy was the teacher, her Husband was the shoe Mender. We left the village in late 1943.Have taken My Wife,Son,and Grandson back on many occasions over the Years,to walk around.A Marine Officer was living in the old house we use to live in Sutton street. If You would like moore of My Memories I will try and Help You Out.Yours Truly,John Wakely
