In this gallery you will find 183 images from the Anti BSL Protest held in Toronto on October 23, 2004. The purpose of the gallery is to not only show the protest but also show the faces of truly responsible people owning and loving these wonderful dogs.

The images you are viewing are resized for internet purposes, if you would like to have them printed please contact me at pkozikowski@sympatico.ca, and I will email them as soon as possible. Please specify if you will be using any of the images for purposes other than personal, in such case permission from me is required since all images are copyright. Most of the images posted are not edited in any shape or form, however prior to emailing requested images I will make some adjustment for contrast, sharpness etc. I expect more than few requests, so please be patient, but if I don’t get back to you in a week or so please contact me again.

I tried to make sure before taking close ups of adults or children that I asked for permission to take a picture, however if you feel that your or your child’s photo shouldn’t be posted in this gallery, please contact me and I will take it down as soon as possible.

If you think that the gallery or individual photos deserve a write up or editorial I will gladly include it, however I am not good with words. You can either post notes as a comment or contact me.

i dont know what all you ignorant people are sayin slay the males for the only dogs that should b slayed are the ones who cant b rehabilitated my pits are awesome dogs i own 2 males 2 females and not one of them have ever bit anyone id b damned to have someone tell me i have to have my babies put down they are my world id die for them just as much as they would for i no dog should b put to sleep for anything but not having the ability to b rehabilitated ever !!!!!!!!

if you kill the males then you can not breed....i had a male and he was a baby....how about dont blame the breed(or gender) just blame the people who train these dogs to be hateful.

Female Pitbull's are the only dogs that are worth while. Males are the ones whom seem to attack/kill people most often. Save the females,destroy the males.

Great pictures of what looks to be a huge turnout eh! Keep fighting the good fight as I'm just across the river from Windsor eh! Don't need any Michigan politicians getting any stupid ideas eh!

Thanks for posting such great photos. I was unable to attend on Saturday, but my heart was with the protesters. I own two large, mixed-breed dogs. If they allow one breed to be banned, I'm afraid that they may go after dogs larger than 60 lbs. My dogs don't deserve to be banned for something they haven't done. Pit bulls need our help more than they need fear mongering politicians. Justice for pit bulls!!!

Thank you for the great pictures of these owners who are striving to retain their rights to own the breed of their choice. I live in Ohio, but am a frequent visitor to Ontario. I also own Dobermans, who I am sure will be targeted in the near future as well. This type of hysterical, knee-jerk legislation is awful! I support dangerous dog legislation, I do agree it is needed, and the irresponsible (even criminal) owners of those dogs should be severely punished.
