Hi there,
Great job!!!!!
I am happy that everything went well for you. I am also planning to do a world tour. Driving is how I want to do it, if I can- I am working on the planning phase currently. By the way I am from Ethiopian leaving in Maryland, US; and I speak French too. If you have time, I have few questions to ask you regarding the world tour that I am hopping to do.
Great job again.
Sincerely,
Brook

Hi Pippa & Florent,
Just found your web site. Very interesting and good photos. We are flying back to UK from Australia in March to pick up our van which has been sitting there for the last 4 months. We have so far shipped our van to Chennai from Australia and driver overland to France for the rugby then to England.
You nay be able to help me on a couple of matters please: our van is a 2005 all wheel drive VW Transporter. We have had experience driving in the outback of Australia especially on sand and have had some rough driving in the Karakorams in Pakistan. Do you thing an AWD vehicle will be suitable for the trip from Wadi Halfa to Khartoum and also in the west of Tanzania where the road seems to be pretty rough. That is compared to a 4wd.
We have a 800km range of diesel. Are there any areas that you think we may have to take extra diesel?
I appreciate your help. Gary Conlan 02 66552202

Hi
Another question, where were you when you spent time with the Bushmen. It looks as though you are somewhere near Xai Xai or the Dobe. We would like to visit this same clan, can you advise.

Hi
We are really interested in Big Mama, do you have any idea what you will sell her for? We are really looking for one in Africa but if the price is right we could just drive her down!! We love troop carriers and are passionate about overland travel.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
