13/06 - We're off! After 5 lovely weeks back in Melbourne making the most of friends and enjoying almost every restaurant and pub we could find, a few days in Wellington to see Uni friends and celebrate 30th birthdays, and 10 days back in the Bay enjoying family times, the sunshine, copius amounts of gourmet food and wine, we're ready! Our bodies are in need of a bit of detox :) Very much looking forward to the adventure and to meeting up with Big Mama in a few days in Cape Town. Bring on Africa!!

What a trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a camera?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? You could use your own cellular phone camera instead, and you could save bandwidth and time. Remember, the next trip around the world, just borrow any camera from other tourists, some of them they have quite good cameras. Doesn't cost much, almost nothing. Total lack of common logic.......

G'day from down under! Your travels and pictures look amazing - thanks for sending the emails, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them and am finding them increadibly inspirational. I am almost a little scared to fwd them to Cam, as I might find myself heading over next week with nothing but a backpack and a tamborine (have discovered back up vocals a no go, so tambornining here we come! :-) Take care little adventurers and I hope you continue to enjoy this beautiful planet. Hi, fells good to read that there are more people doing this overlander stuff! Keep going and have a good trip! We hope you always travel safe, keep informed and we read that Kenya is a bit "critical" at the moment! About Zimbabwe...be careful of the riots and stuff! We plan on going through East Africa beginning of 2008, we are still preparing a lot and look for people who go the same way, so maybe we can join and drive with a few cars : More fun, more safety, more experience and ideas!!!
