Elsie Bushnell Williams receives the SMD-RI Distinguished Service Award. Mrs. Williams served the society as secretary for 54 years, from 1955 through 1999! The award is presented by SMD-RI Governor Gilbert Pemberton II and SMD-RI Deputy Governor Priscilla Usher. The occasion is the SMD-RI 2009 Annual Meeting, April 4, 2009, Newport, Rhode Island.
