we had 264 mm (11 inches) of rain in just 12 hours.
Half of the city was flooded.
The dam behind my house over flooded.There was a lake of about 3 meter deep,and water was spilling in huge amounts over the dam.If this was to collapse,the problems for the neighborhood would be enormous.
Isabels' shop had about 12 cm of water inside.A restaurant nearby had 125cm water inside.
At home we only had some leakage from the roof.I had a few buckets standing inside to collect this ;-))
At least the island looks green again.
