Very nice photos! You did a great job of showing the beautiful island! Your opening statement seems a little contradictory. I'm sure it is all true, but still confusing. Perhaps that is the nature of the island?

I don't think I could ever feel comfortable living in such a beautiful location. Where is the garbage, the stench, where are the homeless people? I'll stay right here in the United States, thank you very much. But be forewarned, there are those that aspire to make the world like the U.S. so enjoy the beauty while you can. Beautiful gallery. Kwijl maar lekker door.Vergeet je slabbetje niet! Er loopt vast nog wel een miljonair rond van 85,met een hartkwaal. Probleem is,die hebben meestal een labba van 20 cm ;-)))
