Ballet Folklorico de Antioquia,COLOMBIA

Founded in 1991 by Albeiro Roldan Penagos,The Ballet Folklorica de Antioquia has become The most Important Dance Company of Colombia.
The Ballet has been Winner of both;"The Gold Medal in the International Olympiads of Schematized Folkloric Dance in Dijon,France(1998)and the acknowledgement Ugo Re Capriata,received in Agrieto,Italy(2003)

The Ballet is directed by the choreographer and dancer,Mauricio Aristizabal,and the Cuban classical ballet rehearser,Natividad Premier.

Photo's were taken with my Canon G-3 camera,at 400 Asa, No Flash used.

I am Osbaldo from Colombia. I live now in USA. I was part of this ballet when they just started long time ago. I am so glad they are doing so well.

Nice pictures. how nice to be able to go see these performances. When younger, i'd go see a flamenco dancing. Jose Greco and his troup. It was very exciting to me. Middle school was when I'd go to see Ballet downtown Los Angeles. Since as far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a dancer.
