Hi Ying, I did not have access to internet for 2 weeks so I could not answer your questions till now.

All the pics went thru post processing in PS. There is no B&W mode in 717. These are done in PS as well. This camera has served me well and I feel that it is good enough for beginner to learn about photography. But of course, if you have the budget, it will be good to go for digital SLR. I just got my D70 so you will be seeing pics with that camera soon.

Whatever your choice is, enjoy your photography ;)

hi-i really admire your pictures! they are masterpieces..
i was wondering are the pictures that you posted,taken by sony f717 are original or did you adjust it through photoshop before posting?i'm asking this because i'm considering the purchase of sony f717(though it's kinda like old stock)..

and also..how did u capture the black and white images thru sony f717? does it actually have a B & W mode?

keep taking pictures! i really enjoy them!
