Great set of shots! I was there on a visit from England. It was an event that I will never forget, having loved the Mustang since childhood!

Great shots! My father flew '51's and Thunderbolts in WWII in the Pacific Theatre as part of the Army Air Force. As I child in the earIy '50's can remember listening to tales at the officer's club. Dad liked the P51 , but preferred the Thunderbolt because of its ability to withstand punishment. Although for those long flights over the Pacific he preferred the P38 since it was nice to have 2 engines out there. Also, with two contra rotating engines you didn't have the torque reaction. Which caught out a lot of new pilots if they botched a landing. Thanks for keeping them flying

The best air show I have ever attended. The only thing missing while viewing these wonderful photos is the sun in your face, the gentle breezes and the beautiful sound of the engines.

This is a great gallery! The Mustang is my favorite WWII aircraft and I wanted to be there so much! Great shots!
